Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God. It is important for us to understand what faith is, what scripture says about it and what Jesus says about it. Many times we believe more in the realities of our problems than in the reality of our God, his character and his truth.

Proverbs tells us that insight and wisdom has its foundation in the fear of the Lord and knowledge of the Holy One. In Luke 10:42, Jesus says that Mary has chosen the good portion in response to her sitting at his feet and listening to his teaching.
